USB cup warmer

A mate had one, and it would burn him if he touched it! Probably the only good one ever made though by the sounds of it!!!

Ah see now the one I have will burn you if you touch it, but only on very focused places on the metal plate, and thats partly the problem. The metal plate is rubbish for transferring the heat across to the cup.

or get some man made diamond,

its amazing at conducting heat.

costs arounf £50 for a small plate i think, but finding a place that sells them would be hard

hmm i wonder if OCUK would stock them :P

just short curcuit a battery and stick it under the cup, should produce enough heat to keep it hot for about 30mmins

but could also explode, so be carefull

rember i do not take any responsibility for anyone stupid enough to do what i sugest, i am what most people would call stupid or just realy realy weird :P

Isn't gold good at conducting heat too? You could try a solid gold cup warmer..

If you can get a small canister of gas then you could run a bunsen burner at low heat and put your (metal) cup on a retort stand above it.
