This has happened quite a lot, and usually, I can get around it, mostly by simply plugging the thing into a different USB port, but now, I am kind of out of ports and so I am wondering what options I have.

Its my TAB PRO

I have a few other tablets, and Phones and sure, they have all done this from time to time, but the TAB PRO seems to be completely incapable of connecting to my Main PC ( Win10/64 ) without whinging about the Device not being recognised.

Is there any good failsafe way that will get it to work again?

I have for whatever the hell reason, completely wiped the Tablet, I have completely removed and reinstalled the USB drivers in the PC, I have gone through all the USB ports, including ones that I have never used for anything, and still nothing seems to help me.

Anyone got anything I can try?

Almost certainly your usb usb cable, the legs on the cable connector will be sunk down and a bad connection is made, get a new cable.
