Hi there,

Recently, I've been getting a USB device not recognised keep coming up and not go away. It literally pings every 2 seconds and is driving me insane.

Specs:
  • AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • AsRock B550M Pro4
  • 16GB RAM
  • RX Vega 56 Pulse
  • Seasonic Focus Gold 750W
  • M2 ADATA Drive and 250GB SSD

Context:

This started a few days ago, I've changed my KB to a Calibur V2 Pro and my mouse is a G703. This problem did not start when I changed my devices. Even when I unplug everything the USB not recognised keeps coming up. Link to the device manager: https://imgur.com/wYg4sR3

After some googling I have tried:

1) Removing all USB devices to try and find the issue - no joy it still keeps coming up
2) Removing my USB header for my front I/O on my motherboard - no joy
3) Reinstalling windows and all new drivers - no joy
4) Disabling/ enabling all the USB serial bus controllers in device manager AND uninstalling them then restarting - no joy
5) Resetting my BIOS settings to default
6) Disabling what I thought to be the problematic USB port after downloading software that showed it to be USB port 5 I believe

Is it my motherboard?!

Do you think this might be a hardware issue? The motherboard? It's never given me trouble before this - this is btw a new build (3/4 weeks old). What else should I check or try? Also, in my BIOS the mouse is now SUPER laggy. This never happened before.

Anyhelp would be amazing and I would be eternally grateful (hey, I'll buy you a beer). This is honestly driving me absolutely insane.
