Hi guys,

I've been having this issue for ages and it doesn't seem to be fixing itself.

I have a Razer Mamba 2012 mouse and I run a 64 bit version of Win7.

I can use the mouse in wireless mode, but when I try and use it in a wired way it say it isn't recognised. Help! I even got razer to send me a new cable as I thought that would be the answer.

Any ideas are VERY much appreciated.

Ben

What other fixes have you tried? (I'm assuming more than just the cable seeing as you mentioned that "Fixes (are) Not Working" in the title).

Have you tried this in a different USB port? as you may be plugging it into a USB 3.0 port and it may not like this?

The PCs USB drivers or the Mouse Drivers?

faulty cable? I take it other devices work in those ports? If so other than inadequate voltage from them (tried ports at the back of the PC direct on motherboard there's not a much else it can be.

I already got the cable replaced. I have no clue what it could be! Other things work in the ports.

Try removing the mouse, deleting infcache.1 from C:\Windows\Inf (you will need to take ownership and grant permissions).

Then reconnect the mouse.

EDIT: Does the mouse work elsewhere, like on a laptop or someone else's PC?

just checked, it doesn't seem to be working on my macbook pro, but the issue here is that as its a retina model it only has usb 3.0 ports. awkward :( this is the only other computer I can try it on!
