"USB device over current status detected"

Morning all

I've got this error on a new build I'm putting together. General consensus on the internet seems to be to disconnect the case USB connection which I've done but I'm still getting the problem.

To the extent, I've disconnected everything USB from the mobo completely but it's still happening.

Any ideas?

take it out of the case, test on the MB box. If its still doing it with no usb devices connected I'd say the MB is DOA.
