USB Device shows up in Disk Management but cant send files to it

Hi all,
I need to update my Bios on my MSI b550 pro vdh wifi, but my usb device isnt showing when I try to send the file to it. Ive tried reinstalling the dreiver several times. When I insert the usb I get the windows chime and the drive shows up in Disk management. Ive also tried diferent usn ports on the motherboard but I still cant send any files to it. The dice shows up as a mass storage device in device manager, and when I remove the usb device it reflects that in device manager.
Any suggestions please?

What does Disk Management show the drive formatted as?

It dosent say. Also just noticed that the usb drive dosent show up in the top half od the disk management but does show up in the bottom half

If it shows up in the bottom but not the top it sounds like the drive isn't initialized/partitioned. If you right click on the drive at the bottom does it give you the option to format it?
