Hi

I am using truecrypt on a usb drive and it has sorted out the encryption okay.

I then go to set up Traveler Disk Setup and it wont create the autorun.inf.

If I dont set that up my PC will still see the usb drive without any encryption correct?

Is this a known issue with truecrypt and usb drives, anything else I need to change or different software for a usb drive.

Am stuck.
Thanks

If by that you mean your encrypted data will be exposed then no, it won't (it would be a bit pointless if that were the case) - you'll just see the encrypted container, and you'll have to run the TrueCrypt executable manually to mount it in the normal way.

If you're moving between different systems, which is presumably why you're using traveller mode in the first place, you'll often find that USB autorun functionality is disabled for security reasons, so it's really of limited use in any case.

I am just wanting to encrypt the usb drive for my one PC.

Have worked out how to do the c: drive.

So if I encrtypt the USb drive, then when it is done to use it am I just mounting it before dropping files onto it.
