Hi guys,
I got a 4 bay synology nas running dsm6.0+
I also have a USB drive 4.0TB.
I'm looking to perform the following
- Backups via USB for the synology nas via hyper backup product - PARTITION A
- Time machine backup directly via MAC and USB drive for now - PARTITION B
- Possible "free" space for a windows operating system to see a partition. - PARTITION C
the problem I have is file system types!!!
Ext4 is supported on the NAS, but supposedly not in the MAC OS!!!!!
this presents a problem, I'm formatting the drive on my macbook and I see file types like APFS. MACOS exFAT. even MS-DOS lol wth
Which file systems should I use for partition A,B and C?
