USB driver for Sony Ericsson DCU-65?

Can't find it anywhere and my new phone came with the wrong drivers for this cable

Anyone got it? Can't find it on Sony site

It should be part of the Sony software suite.

Just plug it in and let windows search the internet for the driver has always worked for my Sony phones.

No i've got the 530i. DCU-65 is the USB cable.

I tried that and it has installed the USB as something else. PC suite doesn't recognise that a phone is connected, it thinks it's a modem

Which is correct. It will detect several different pieces of hardware when you hook the phone up, including a bluetooth network adapter if your particular handset has bluetooth.

Strip all Sony software from your machine. Download and install the latest PC Suite. If any hardware can't find drivers, point it at the program directory. Job done.

Thankyou Memphis, this has worked perfectly! Appreciate your advice - I should have probably used more common sense but my old age is getting to me!!
