2nd post and I'm asking for advice again already! Well this is a strange one but maybe someones got an idea.
Pretty sure it's a motherboard issue, basically anytime I plug in any usb stick or external hard drive, anything that holds data i am unable to move my mouse or type, i can left and right click for some reason, windows says that it has failed to install device drivers. Once i pull the drive/stick out again everything is fine again! When the drive is plugged in windows makes the new device sound again and again every 3-4 seconds.
It's the same deal with all the usb ports, im using a usb keyboard and mouse, thats whats really screwing with my mind
Motherboard is ASRock m3a770de, processor amd phenom II 955, 8gigs of ripjaws x RAM, Radeon HD 5850 card.
What makes me think its a motherboard problem is that in the bios its the same deal, plug in an external drive and the keyboard stops working
would really appreciate any help!!! Thanks!
