Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a USB flash drive with some sort of write protection (e.g., a hard switch)?

Basically, I want something I can put into PCs at, e.g., Internet cafés in write-only mode, without fear or any nasties transferring across.

Thanks,
Simon

Ah, thanks for the suggestion. Not quite as ideal, but I'll certainly take a look at that.

I seem to remember seeing a number of write-protectable USB sticks a while ago, but they seem rare to non-existent now!

SD card write-protection is only a software thing, not a hardware one!

Do not rely on the switch to prevent it being written to unless the spec of the card actually says it is a hardware switch
