Usb Flash Drive Wont Format

Hi everyone,

My usb flashdrive wont format, not even in dos.. In disk management it shoes as unable to read. And when i right click it in my computer it says it is formatted to RAW..

Help!

Try re-partitioning it under Disk Management and then format it.

Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management. Disk Management.

Yea but how do I partition it in disk manager?

No offence but figure it out. You have the drive designation in front of you with the bar going across the screen. Left and right click on the drive and the large bar to see what options you have.

You'll want to create a FAT partition though.

It shows up as DISK 1 Removable (f

Then under it says Unreadable

And when Left And Right Click It, It only says properties
