i have a USB Flash memory stick, 256mb. Which i had owned for some 4-5 years.
within the last few days it has malfunctioned ! !
when installed in a USB socket on a PC i get the following Error message.
'USB Device Nor Recognised
One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognise it.
For assistance in solving this problem click here'
Upno click on the icon in the system tray it takes me to Device Manager.
which shows all the USB and a gives the same error message as above.
i think that either the flash memory has failed or the electronic circuit that operates the flash memory has died.
Either way is it not working.
Does any one know where i can go to get the data recovered fromt the stick, or a way of getting the data off.
