USB Header Splitter

Anyone know if they exist and a make/model as I want to add a couple of USB ports to an old xbox thats being used as a media center and would rather not cut and splice wires

USB headder splitter?

A USB header has two USB ports on it (assuming you mean the typical 9-pin arrangement on most motherboards). The only way you can "split" this is with a USB hub.

You can't "split" that, as the root hub logic won't have a clue what is going on with attached peripherals.

Thanks for the info looks like im pulling the xbox apart and splicing one of the controller ports for a usb hub.
