I am looking at a mobo with 2 USB3, and 4 USB2 sockets on the back panel. However I need an extra 2 USB2 sockets at the back.
The mobo has extra headers that allow one to connect 4 extra USB2 and 2 extra USB3 sockets. Two of these will be used for the front panel USB2 sockets on my case, but how do I use the other 2 USB2 headers? (or the USB3 headers for that matter?)
Previous mobos I have bought came with a PCI slot cover replacement with two USB sockets and a cable to connect to the header on the mobo, but this one does not appear to.
I have tried on this web site but cannot see anything that will allow me access to these 4 USB headers from the back panel of my case. Am I missing something?
It seems a little daft to buy an add-in card for the extra sockets I need when there are headers sitting on the board!
