USB Headers

I am now looking to upgrade my motherboard, I have an Intel core i5 3570K processor LGA1155 Z77,I am also going to use water cooling instead of air cooling, I need a board with at least 3 usb headers and it needs to be overclockable I have £170 (max) can any one recommend a suitable board ?

Get a motherboard you like within the price and then just buy

Interesting little card does it just plug into the psu and USB 2 port? Where did you mount it?

it comes with an adaptor which is molex to its relevant connection, I have mine mounted on the back of my case with all my cables but towards the top end out of the way.

Just plug in the molex into the adaptor provided then the usb hub and you can then use any of the 3 additional headers or 2 usb ports. The usb ports are good for example if you have a wireless device e.g. mini usb reciever for a wireless mouse like my mouse (logitech performance mx) you can then just leave that receiver inside of your case on that usb

Sorry my bad didn't read properly, yes it will need to be plugged into a usb header on your motherboard also, you basically sacrifice 1 motherboard usb header and gain 3 usb headers + 2 usb ports
