Every time I insert a usb device I have to manually load the drivers.
this only happens on my PC on my laptop everything works fine.
On my laptop when I insert the USB cable for my camera it finds and opens it with no problems however everytime my desktop asks me to insert a disk or install drivers automatically and then asks me to continue anyway as the drivers it installs are not signed.
It's almost like XP isn't remembering or storing any USB device drivers anywhere. I've tried reinstalling the drivers I got with my motherboard but no joy. On saying that my mouse is USB and it works fine (of course I don't unplug it very often
)
