USB keyboard problem

Hi, I use a Filco Majestouch via a PS/2 connection but I wanted to give a new USB keyboard a try (CM storm).

I used to have a Razer black widow keyboard installed and I uninstalled the device driver for it when I took it off the PC.

I haven't plugged a keyboard in via USB since so didn't realise I had an issue.

When I plug in the new USB keyboard it doesn't do anything (no lights, no key action, as if its dead, but its not I tried it on another PC straight away and its fine) and when I look at the keyboard under control panel it says it is under the Razer device.

When I look in device manager a Razer device is showing with a question mark but I can't see to uninstall it.

I also use a Deathadder mouse and that's working properly and showing under another heading anyway.

Any idea how to get a USB keyboard working again?

No problem, solved it.

I noticed the option to uninstall anything was greyed out while it was all in use so I plugged in the PS2 keyboard again and then I uninstalled the HID keyboard from device manager.

Then it let me uninstall the Razer control device as the uninstall option was showing and then I plugged in the USB keyboard and it installed automatically and off we go.

What a palaver!
