Recently my Brothers keyboard randomly stops working. Unplugging it and plugging it back in again fixes it.

He uses Win7 and the keyboard is just a cheap USB Logitech k120. He has bought another as we thought it was a problem with the keyboard itself, but even the new one does the same. I have run antivirus, anti malware and cleaned his comp but cannot find the cause of the issue.
It can work for hours on end without issue, but then randomly stop working until its plugged in again. Tried different USB ports too and its the same issue.

If anyone has any thoughts on what the issue might be we would appreciate it.

i have the same problem too. My logi G11 has been working for years but when i added a wireless g700s i started getting problems and have realised it usually stops working after i change the mouse from wireless to wired mode so am presuming some conflicts in the two.

Have you any other peripherals connected which could be conflicting with the keyboard?

Only other peripheral connected is his mouse which hes had for years and had no issues with.

We have a spare mouse so i will get him to try that and see if theres and issues with it.

Is it another logitech, if so try a different brand as the drivers may be conflicting.
