USB KVM switch

I am looking to get a usb kvm switch for my 2 pcs. My main pc has dvi and the shuttle has vga. Will i notice much difference graphics wise (gaming, desktop etc) on my main pc by coverting the dvi to vga? I could purchase a dvi usb kvm switch but they seem so much more expensive than the vga ones.

I use an Aten USB KVM. My main PC is connected to the monitor directly with DVI and also via the KVM via VGA. My other PC's are connected using VGA only. I switch between DVI and VGA using the switch on my monitor.

VGA is not as good as the DVI, but only I can only tell with text. With videos and games I'm too preoccupied to be critcising my own display.

what model was it?
if i can get a cheapish dvi one then i'll go for that

Aten do a 2 port DVI for ~£50. Model CS62DU
