Not to sure whats going on here, but my 4Gb Patriot Xporter stick wont let me write to it in Vista anymore, nor will readyboost work (gives me a message saying it's too slow! even though its one of the fastest usb sticks out there) It wont even let me format the darn thing anymore. The strange thing is that in Windows XP it works fine, can format, copy and do what you want with it. Its only in Vista it just mounts but if I try to copy something on it it says 'the disk is write-protected' WTF?

It has been fine for months with Vista with no trouble, does anyone know of any flash memory software perhaps or know how to get it going again?

:)
