Strange one this... I've been using it between PCs and Macs for my current uni work. Anyway, today there was an issue with copying some work on to the drive from the Mac - when I deleted folders the capacity didn't increase. Formating doesn't seem to do any good as it shows it as a 200 MB drive instead of 4 GB. It's a Kingston Datatraveller in my opinion is quite poorly made, so I'm guessing it's time for a new drive. Although if anyone has any ideas, that would be useful. :D

My datatraveller died during sixth form, wasnt old, and i looked after it very well.

I think maybe time to get a new one yes, hopefully you backed your uni work up? I would be annoyed if i lost mine haha.

Download the USB disc format tool.

Windows-based Format Utility for HP Drive Key or DiskOnKey USB Device

The HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool was developed to be a Windows-based format utility for the HP Drive Key or DiskOnKey USB 2.0 device.

Windows alone does not do the job properly. Works on all brands of USB pen drive.
