Which ones are good for reception? I have heard good things about Netgear.

Are the pci ones with antenna on the back better for signal than usb?
Whats the difference between 54mbps and 108mbps?

Im looking at around £20 ish

Is this any good for £18

Netgear WG111 54 Mbps Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter

sorry for all the questions, i dont know anything about wireless networking

If you get the WG111, make sure you use software version 1.3 or below, my friend has 2 of them and both are very unstable with 1.5 or 2.0

Im not necessarily getting that one. It was just an example because i heard netgear are good. Theres 1000s, thats why its hard to get one

My girlfriend has a WG111, took a bit of trouble at the beggining with drivers under Vista x64 but all sorted with the latest drivers. We dont use the Software provided just the windows wireless.

As for range, cant comment either way seems pretty average

What operating system are you using?

I have the WG111T and I find it drops out every 5 or 10 minutes or so in Vista64 Ultimate. I have to disconnect it and reconnect for it to work again

Considering changing it :(
