Been looking around and it seem I can get a USB3 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Wired Network Adapter for around £10.

I have just got Virgin Media

Just got the up to 152 package installed today and linked the router to my laptop only to discover its only 10\100mbps gutted as its only 6 months old, should have checked the network card first! It can pull 92.4Mb\s on Speedtest.net so I guess that's the Max throughput of my network card?

Have 3 devices connected to the 5GHz Wi-Fi an LG G3 Galaxy S5 and a Hudl 2 these 3 get between 80-90Mb\s on Speedtest.net

Should the Wi-Fi aspect be quicker? I thought it would be quicker!

I have done various speed tests and my laptop network card is 100% utilized @ 93.75Mb/s thats the best I have got and believe this is the max the current on-board card will handle.

I would like the extra or missing 50Mb/s or so so would the above idea of an USB3 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Wired Network Adapter be the best option?

Just wondering if people can recommend a make or would any cheap one do? Only £10 so wont brake the bank, guess it would be much better than using a USB Wireless n adapter.
