USB Not Enough Controller Resources

Hi,

I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 a couple of weeks ago. I installed my Line 6 PODxt Live driver but when I connect it I get an error saying:

"Not enough USB controller resources".

When I go into Device Manager it has an exclamation mark with this error:

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)

The I/O device reported an I/O error."


I never got this error before and to my knowledge I have installed the latest drivers and also the windows 8.1 driver for my device.

Does anyone know how I can fix this issue?

Sorry I forgot to mention this is when I try it into a USB3 port... When I plug into USB2 it works fine.

Pardon the obvious, but why can't you leave it plugged in to the USB 2 port?

I do just now, I was just wondering why it done this and if there was an easy fix for it.
