Hey guys just trying to set up my old mans internet on his new (my old) pc, but Windows 7 won't recognise the BT Home Hub or even the old DSL Speed Touch internet connection so im a bit stumped how to get the internet working?! The only thing I can think of is downloading the home hub drivers and trying to install them off a memory stick and I don't think it helps that the internet is connected to the pc through USB!

Please help guys! Not sure if this is ok here or if not can a mod move it to the internet forum!

Thanks.

Is this a fresh windows install?

Do other USB devices work?

Does the home hub not offer an ethernet connection?

No it's my old win 7 install! Even tried the bt internet cd which installs the drivers, but as soon as you plug the usb connection in it says it's not recognised  think im gonna have to get an ethernet cable and just stick that in the home hub and the pc and hope that solves the problem!
