hi all, when i shut my machine down it appears to keep powering usb devices such as my keyboard and the red light under my mouse stays on.

ive had a look in the bios but nothing obvious to change jumps out at me and i dont realy know what im looking for in the manual to de activate this :(

is it a bios setting or a jumper?

any help would be great :)

I have this Mobo, I dont think that this happens to me, because the light of my 360 controller turns off when i turn the PC off, it could be some sort of bios setting or something, im not entirely sure

look in the motherboard manual to see if there is any jumpers on the motherboard you can change?

You need to look in the APM section of the Bios and turn on Energy Star support. Doing this should disable the wake from USB feature. This should then stop the USB devices being powered at Stand-by
