Hey all,
I've had this problem since i bought this machine a few months ago but never got around to solving it because it never really affected me until now, as i'm trying to move songs across to my ipod and it takes.......................................................... ages.
anyway, all ports on this motherboard are usb2.2, yet when i plug anything in to the back of the machine, front of the machine or the hub in my 2005FPW it says 'this is a high speed device which can run faster if you plug it in to a usb 2 socket'. if you click that bubble it then says there are no high speed usb's in this machine.
why is it lying to me?
I've checked device manager:
and everything is installed correctly. The top controller uses an MS driver, and the bottom an OWC on, which i assume is the one I installed from the DFI cd, as that's all i've used.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated!
Cheers
