USB or PS/2

Sorry this is a really dumb question, but both my mouse and keyboard are USB but they also have PS/2 connectors. What connector is best to use or are they both the same. I read that USB might be quicker but uses processor power. Any thoughts?

No ideas, lol.

my mouse is on USB and keyboard on PS2.

One thing worth noting, is that when I was having some pretty annoying problems with my pc, windows log-on screen wouldnt recognise my USB, but was ok with the PS2 peripherals, so its worth keeping that adaptor!

I wouldnt think any USB mouse would cause a performance prob unless your PC is really shoddy, but im just guessing, dont take my word for it.

both are the same, keep adapters though just incase either for some reason windows wont work with usb, or you need to free up usb slots.
