usb pen boot drive

Hi there,

can someone give me a fairly easy tutorial on making a usb pen drive tried to do this a few times but no luck cant seem to get it right ,,is there a nice gui proggy that can do it for me

There's this program called Unetbootin but if I remember correctly I think it's just for Linux installs only

Worth a look though.

Some USB pens can't be booted from.
I spent ages trying to get (a no-name cheapo) one to work without success. A Crucial one worked first time.

well just followed the guide and it wont boot from my sandisk u3 titainium..will try another drive

format the USB stick in FAT then using Disk Manager make sure u set "active" on teh USB stick. Then copy the windows files from DVD to USB stick and it should boot, thats how i installed Win7 on NC10
