My girlfriend is set on one of these:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/i-BEAD-256MB-MP3-Player/dp/B0000A2YAZ

She lost this exact same item last week and wants to replace it with exactly the same thing :S

I said she should get a cheaper 1Gb flash one (which is effectively what this is) but this one has an integrated battery (which charges over USB) which is the deal winner for her.

Is there any other USB pen-stick mp3 players with integrated batteries?

Check the battery life on that, obv you would need to have the usb cable wih you to charge it and its a bit steep for 1Gb but 153 Hours play time, thats cool.

Looks nice, might look into that myself, so many hours of battery life sounds amazing, also built in :D, I always hated battery's and chaning them often, my own mp3 @ full volume (its really loud, about as loud as a k700i phone speaker, and im talkign about soudn comign from the headphones) kills a 1000 mAh aaa battery in 3 or 4 hours...

if you listen to the new thing at that volume for 150hrs you won't need it for long - you'll be deaf before the battery runs out.

The thing prolly wont go that high, most mp3 players (but the one i have) have got volume protection (ie. a low, unharmfull max. volume).

Don't need to listen @ high volumes, occasionally do but meh, would like to have 150 hr battery life, much improvement over my 5-6 hr life (@ normall volumes)...
