Hi, i got a 1GB USB2 pendrive last week. first thing i did was try to backup about 800mb of data to it. as it neared the end it said something like "invalid parameter: cannot copy xxx to f".
so i tried to delete the folder, it deleted a few hundred mb and at the end said the same thing. tried on different pcs, but couldnt delete the folder. and it said folder size was 0kb and even though nothing else was on the disk it said 300mb was being used.
i tried copying other files, and the same problem happened. so had no choice but to format it.
now it shows up as having 492mb of space...
have tried chkdsk/f/r on it, but it sais theres nothing wrong with the disk.
is there anything else i can do to get back the other 500 odd mb of space?
