Hi everyone, I have a new Lenovo laptop and on one of the ports there seems to be some tape? I can’t remove it very easily and I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be removed. The USB port functions perfectly fine. Do I need to be concerned? Some advice would be appreciated.

Looks like just a bit of packaging to me, it should do no harm but personally i'd remove it with some tweezers

edit: Looking again, it could be some tape from inside the laptop thats been snagged in the build process, again nothing to be concerned with, just carefully remove it

Okay, thanks so much. I will try removing it.

Thank you so much, I managed to remove it carefully with some tweezers and it was a bit of sticky tape. I hope the tweezers haven't affected the rungs on the encasing of USB port.

I've just tried it and it works fine, so I'm going to stop worrying. Thanks again!
