Hi guys,

Got a VERY annoying issue with my USB ports on my Mobo that keep disconnecting all my USB PnP stuff. Just appear to do it at random without warning. It's at random interval too. Might be fine for hours or days and then I get an hour or two where I have to keep pulling out and reconnecting whatever is plugged in to get it to read. If I restart my PC, everything works well again (for at least a while).

any ideas?

Same here, seems to be my case front panel connectors though, I'm thinking the internal usb plug ( whatever you call it ) might be loose, but I can't be arsed opening it up to check just yet as it only happens every other day.

You could start with the following:

1. Untick any Fastboot option in BIOS.

2. And:

Not confident that'll be the issue in this case but good to rule them out of the equation. Can turn them back on later if there's another solution.

3. Can also go to Device Manager, expand the USB list, right-click on each and Properties, and go to the Power Management tab to untick "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
