USB Ports on timers?

Hello, do any of you guys and gals know how to put my USB ports on timers? I know I can enable and disable via Device Manager, but I really need to be able to tell the computer when to turn a port on and when to turn it off...

Any help would be great!

What do you want for it to do with the port? It's likely you could get something to work using Windows scheduled tasks.

This might sound long-winded but

I am going to use the USB power to run a solid state relay. When the USB port is enabled, power will run through it to the relay and activate a pump or light... Kinda using an old computer as a timer control centre for a couple of devices

You could use a plug in timer, with a usb hub plugged into it. Do you want to run it only at certain times or do you want to be able to do it manually?
