USB ports randomly powered?

So, my PC recently has started powering different USB ports.

I have USB 3.0 and 2.0 but the power to them keeps changing all the time, e.g I have to keep swopping my keyboard port around cause the lights aren't coming on & its not typing.

Any idea on what could be causing this?
 
Check to see if your motherboard is set to power devices while switched off. As these ports may fail to repower once booted.

Before a bios update, my motherboard would power the lights on my keyboard while the PC was off, then when switching back on the keyboard would not be powered. I turned the setting off so it no longer "Charged" devices while off til a bios update fixed it.

Something to do with it switching the port power on/off, on boot it was told to switch, but If i left a device in it would take it from the powered option, to unpowered when booting.
 
OK, Thanks, I'll have to look around if I can get into the BIOS, got another problem at the minute :p
