Just setting up the kids playroom, and figured it might be a nice touch to put some LED ambient lighting:-
a) Off the back of the TV
b) In the media shelf behind the XBox.

The simplest thing would seem to be if I could get some USB powered led lighting strips and power one off the TV, and one off the XBox?

Any one had any experience of USB powered LED strips?

Only ones I can seem to find are - Antec Advance Accent Lighting (Blue) at about £9 a pop?

OC don't sell the blue ones, only the red ones :(

It's only a 32" TV so I assume a single strip of these down the back for the TV somewhere would be enough?

Well, I've just ordered a generic cheap 50cm blue LED strip with 15 leds purely to test the water. I'll try it behind the TV and in the cabinet to get a feel of what works/doesn't work.
