Bit of a strange question, but I recently bought a 10w anker wireless charger. I have it plugged directly into a usb hub (no plug) and just wondering if it can charge at its full speed?

Im not sure if a usb port can provide the full power for the wireless charger to be able to charge at 10w

This is what I have it plugged into:

Generally usb power runs around 2-2.5w max so unlikely you'll get near that, youd be better off with an actual 10w charger.

So I will need to plug the charger into a regular plug socket then in order to get the maximum wattage?

Pretty much yea, any decent anker or other branded usb charger plug should be able to manage 10w per port. Always worth checking specs though.

Okay thank you! Done that now, and the speeds to be what I thought they would be!

Did seem oddly slow at first when it was plugged straight into the USB port
