USB Problem!!

When i turn my pc on with USB Devices plugged in, when it gets to loading Windows XP stage it freezes! So i have to unplug them all, and when its loaded up, plug them all in again.

Any Idea's?

If you have a flash drive plugged in, I think it trys to boot from that, and as it doesn't have Windows or any operating system on there for that matter it would freeze.

But if your talking about USB mice and keyboards etc, I have no idea.

my iDEQ used to try and boot from any USB memory sticks or external drives i had plugged in. never did find the option in the bios to turn this off but im sure it was there. have a look around.
