Hi all ,

Overclocked my 920 today to 3.8ghz on gigabyte x58 extreme. System appears to be stable after running some extensive test's . However i started to notice some issues with USB devices, mainly my ipod touch. Every now and again the device says its been unplugged when its not , also itunes stops reconizing the ipod at all

If i drop the overclock back to default settings in the BIOS , all seems to be normaly again and itunes works fine again.

Obvioulsy the overclock is effecting my USB ports but im unshore in what way. Is there some settings that increase the USB clock or something that im missing. Checked PCIE lock and that seems fine

Any help would be great

Thanks...;)

I am wondering once you have overclocked is your PSU at its limit for power output? if it is, could it be affecting your USB`s power ???
Just and idea.

You mentioning psu makes me think about voltage settings which i should have really checked before , may need to pump up the volume abit :D

Thanks for thought
