USB Problems

Was trying to install the driver for my new webcam, it worked for a period of time then it stopped and I cannot use any of my USB sockets on the PC?

I have tried uninstalling the webcam driver and using system restore to go back to a previous day before I installed the webcam driver but the problem still persists.

No matter what I put into my USB sockets it allways comes up with an unknown device error.

The only thing I havent tried is reinstalling windows.

Any suggestions? Im running windows XP pro

You could try installing new drivers for the usb hub.

Where would I get these drivers from? As ive used the update driver function in the device manager but this didn't work. Is there anywhere I could get the drivers from?
