I have a BT voyager 210 router for use with my BT boradband service. I connect the router into my PC via USB and also to my 360. I am thinking about upgrading to Vista at xmas time (with a DX10 card for crysis) but have heard that Vista doesnt detect USB connections - is this trus? if so what is the solution? Cheers

thats a good one

its absolute rubbish mate. Your router should work fine.

of course there is no reason why a usb router shouldn't work in vista...... if you have vista drivers. but you might not get very far without them. :)

if there are no vista drivers, it might be worth trying to force an install using xp drivers but there is no guarantee it will work.

The ideal is to use ethernet - the vast majority of network cards will work out the box, and you don't need drivers for the router.

There are Vista drivers for the 210 but I think they maybe only for the 32 bit version I am not sure about the 64 bit.

You would be much better off using an ethernet connection to use for both the Xbox and the PC you can do this either using a hub/switch as the 210 is a router.

Alternatively you can buy a new ADSL modem/router with 4 ports built in.
