Hi all!
I've recently purchased my first PC build, after a week of setting it all up, I've got everything up and working, except two things:
The CPU fan works fine, but the rear fan hasn't switched on at all. Not only that, but the RGB lighting on the case and fan don't work at all. There is a 4-pin cable from the fan (there is also a vdg? cable thing next to it) I'm presuming powers the rear fan + lighting, but can't figure out where that would go. The only other loose cables are an 8pin male cable from my PSU(6 +2) and a 15 pin(?) SATA cable that doesn't fit anywhere.
The second issue is that my motherboard's RGB lighting WAS working until I had to move the PC to a different room. Now, although it functions, the lighting is nonexistent. I've tried switching the PC off and on, tried switching the RGB switch off on the motherboard itself but no dice.
I would leave it but it's a bit frustrating considering I paid a fair amount for it, and I'm worried the CPU will overheat when I need to do high-quality coursework on Adobe After Effects.
My build:
Apologies if the answer is obvious, I'm extremely new to all of this!
