Hi guys,

I think this is more software related hence this section.

I have some KEF speakers on my desk. They are connected to my laptop via USB.

They also have an AUX out that I have today connected my monitor to provide sound for my PS4, all works great except in order for AUX to work I have to unplug the USB cable from the laptop.

Is there a easier way within Windows where I could disable the USB port so the speakers to know to default to AUX and I can easily change back? I'd rather clicking on buttons on mouse rather than manually unplugging the USB cable every time. Tried via device manager but make no difference.

Thanks,

I have another issue regarding USB! So the new monitor doesn’t have USB so I’ve plugged the LEDs stuck on my monitor into my pc’s USB, only it doesn’t suspend the USB port when turned off. Despite my unchecking it on device manager.

Any ideas?
