hey

i've got a litle problem with my usb ports.. they seem to be 1.1 not 2.0 which they supposed to be... it takes around 20s to transfer 20mb file to my usb pen which is 2.0 :/ same with my phone and my older usb pen.. i've checked for drivers on google cant find anything on it.. when i plug my usb pen it says that the port i use is too slow for my pen so it will reduce the speed? what should i do about i know my motheboard does have 2.0 ports..

windows xp service pack 2 :) tried it in vista found the driver works fine... but i use xp more than vista so i need driver for that one too...

Is this in the front USB slots or the ones in the rear?

Certain cases (although they are rare now) can only manage 1.1 on the built in ports and you have to resort to the motherboard's built in stuff for 2.0

both.... same in the front and rear... as i've said tried the same usb pen in vista (which downloads the drivers needed automaticly) and it's much faster from the same ports.. i just cant find the drivers for xp.. i dont even know what drivers to look for.... lol... such a simple think... but never needed before :(
