USB Temperature Probe

Im looking for a USB Temperature Probe, that I can query the result of using my own program.
I see some after Google, but they are around £60 each - which is a bit steep!

Any one seen any about?

The MCubed T-Balancer comes in at about £45 or so and has temperature monitoring and fan control (using the included software). Not sure how easy it would be to write your own for tough.
