USB to Serial and Win 8

Thought this section would get the best answer.

I changed my work laptop to windows 8, which meant my current usb to serial doesn't work anymore. So cannot connect to switches without using an old win 7 laptop

Has anyone ordered a usb to serial that works with win 8 64?

I use a generic prolific chip based one without issue.

Or better yet check out a product called GetConsole for the iPad.

I use it all the time at work - saves the hassle of carrying round a laptop and the messing around.
