USB Turntable?

Hello,

Anyone recommend a USB Turntable for transferring records to the PC? I’ve seen a few but reviews are hard to come by, doesn’t need to professional quality as its for my dad and most of his old collection are in ‘tree trunk stereo’ (as he calls it).

Any help appreciated

I haven't used any USB turntables but you can get cd recorder seperates that you can connect to your hifi and record CDs on. Very simple to use if my gfs dad can do it.

Yep I suppose he could use a line out but that would mean moving the HiFi to the PC and I was thinking of getting him one as a birthday present...(as I can't think what else to get him!)

Numark TTX's now come with a USB connection I think.

There are USB turntables around, cost about a ton, come from that other place, that's not the purple pillocks.. the blue ones... that charge twice the online cost..
