Two function are good for me:

1) Reversible

2) Better shielding so it may not interfere with 2.4GHZ devices like wireless mice which current USB 3.0 does.

I have mixed feeling about this. If it is quickly adopted by most manufacturers then it won't be an issue but if it's kind of spread around random products then having to use adapters will be a right pain.

I am agreeing with @PHazlington here. Its a right pain as most people are still using USB 2.

Suddenly the useful USB ports on my Corsair 650D case now look ancient.

I hope it's easy to get adapters to ease the transition.
