USB Type-C (with USB 3.1 support) : iPad Pro 12.9"

Hi,

Has anybody had any luck connecting their iPad Pro 12.9" (2018) to the USB-C connector on their PC?

When I make the connection literally nothing happens , nothing shows up in Device Manager etc.
